Description

In Jeff Davis: The Confederacy at War, you take on the role of President Jefferson Davis, managing the Confederate government and war effort during the American Civil War. As a solo player, you'll make tough decisions that determine the fate of great armies and the outcome of battles, from the clash between Lee and Grant to smaller campaigns like Morgan's Ohio raid. You'll need to allocate scarce resources, like artillery and ironclads, to your most trusted generals, while also managing the Confederate economy, which relies heavily on slavery and blockade running. With a playtime of 60 to 240 minutes, you'll have to balance short-term needs with long-term strategy, all while navigating the complexities of States' Rights and diplomatic relations with European powers. Can you lead the Confederacy to victory, or will the Union prevail?
