Description

In Exlibrium, a magical seal protects the barrier between narrative and objective realities, and players take on the roles of mages-bookworms in a medieval fantasy setting. Up to 5 players can battle it out, transforming into characters like barbarians, bards, and assassins, but only one can emerge as the champion. The game is a card-drafting challenge with a unique twist - all cards are double-sided, and players must decide which side to use each time. The game plays out over three rounds, with players simultaneously choosing a card to play and passing the remaining cards to the next player. Each card adds a character to their tableau, and the player with the majority gets to activate the character's power. At the end of the game, characters are scored, and the player with the most points wins. With its simple yet strategic gameplay, Exlibrium is a fun and engaging experience for 2 to 5 players that can be enjoyed in just 20 to 40 minutes.
