Description

In Seii Daimyo, you're an aspiring Daimyo aiming to unify the Japanese islands under a new Shogunate. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, you'll be up and running in no time, competing against 1 to 3 other players in a game that lasts around 30 to 45 minutes. Each player starts with a set of role cards, including a Samurai and an Ashigaru, which they'll use to gain actions and strengthen their forces. Over five rounds, you'll secretly play one of your role cards, trying to outmaneuver your opponents and increase your control over the three islands. With hand management and secret unit deployment mechanics, you'll need to use deduction to figure out what the other players are planning, making for a fun and strategic game. Designed by John Clowdus and published in 2017, Seii Daimyo is a great choice for anyone looking for a quick and engaging card game.
