Description

In the world of Sencha, you're not just a tea enthusiast, you're a representative of a monastery on a mission to harvest the most pure and prestigious tea in Japan. The shogun is watching, and the monastery that impresses him the most will be rewarded with the highest honor. With easy-to-learn rules, 2 to 4 players can dive into this 45-minute game, navigating the delicate balance of tea production, farmer recruitment, and strategic expansion of their tea houses. As you take your turn, you'll choose from a range of actions that will determine your success. Will you focus on collecting the finest tea leaves, or hiring skilled farmers to boost your production? Perhaps you'll expand your tea houses to increase your reputation, or sell your tea to the high-class society to gain prestige. You can even grant offerings to the shogun and your temple to earn valuable victory points. The game ends when a player reaches 7 victory points or the demand for tea runs out, and the player with the most points will be declared the winner. With its unique blend of area majority, worker placement, and economic strategy, Sencha is a game that will keep you on the edge of your seat as you compete to become the most renowned tea producer in Japan.
