Description
Carcassonne: Gold Rush is a tile-laying game where players create a world set in the 19th century American West. They place tiles to build a landscape of gold mines, railways, and cowboy trails, scoring points for their discoveries. With easy-to-learn rules, 2 to 5 players can join in on the fun, competing to find the most gold nuggets in just 35 minutes. As players send their henchmen to laboriously search for gold, they'll need to strategically place their tents to snatch nuggets from other explorers or uncover rich gold finds. The game is designed by Klaus-Jürgen Wrede and is part of the Carcassonne series, offering a fresh take on territory building and area majority mechanics. Published in 2014, Carcassonne: Gold Rush is a great introduction to the series, with a unique theme and exciting gameplay that's perfect for a quick game night with friends.
