Description

The Gate of R'lyeh is a thrilling board game for 4 to 8 players that throws you into a desperate battle to save the world from the clutches of Cthulhu. With a playtime of just 45 to 60 minutes, you'll need to work quickly to trigger the four incantations required to trap the monster forever. The twist is that there are cultists hidden among your team, working against you, but the real enemy is the clock ticking away. As you take turns, each player has five actions to choose from, including contributing to the incantation pool, researching, and investigating. But beware, as the cultists are lurking, and revealing one won't eliminate them from the game. The game is easy to learn, but the tension builds as the clock advances and sanity starts to slip. Will you be able to work together to save the world, or will the cultists and the clock prove too much to overcome?
