Description

Sergeant Major is a classic trick-taking card game that's easy to learn and fun to play with two friends. In just 60 minutes, you'll be competing to win as many tricks as possible, using a standard 52 card deck. The goal is simple: be the first player to win 12 or more tricks in one hand, and you'll be declared the winner. The game starts with the player to the dealer's left leading any card to the first trick, and from there, it's compulsory to follow suit if you can - but if you don't have the suit led, you can play any card you like. As you play, you'll need to strategize to win each trick, using the highest trump card or the highest card of the suit led to take the win. The winner of each trick gets to lead the next one, so the game can turn quickly. With its straightforward rules and fast-paced gameplay, Sergeant Major is a great choice for a quick game night with friends. And don't worry if you're new to trick-taking games - the rules are easy to pick up, so you can dive right in and start competing to be the Sergeant Major champion.
