Abstract Strategy, City Building
Description
In Skyline, 3 to 4 players compete to build the most valuable cityscape, with each turn bringing new opportunities and challenges. The game is all about strategic tile placement, as players take turns moving their helicopter pawn around the board to land on unoccupied squares and build new floors. The color of the landing site determines which player gets to add a new floor, and the active player must pay points to the owners of buildings they've flown over. As the game heats up, players must balance their building ambitions with the need to manage their points, or risk being eliminated early. With a playtime of just 45 minutes, Skyline is a quick and intense abstract strategy game that's easy to learn but challenging to master. First published in 1988, it remains a classic city-building experience that's perfect for fans of tile placement and strategic gameplay.
