Description

In Prehistories, you're the leader of a prehistoric tribe, guiding your members to hunt and thrive. The game is easy to learn, and each round is a thrilling 30 minutes of strategy and fun for 2 to 5 players. You'll bid secretly to decide who hunts where, and the fastest player goes first, but with a catch - they have fewer hunters to catch the prey. The prey is represented by polyomino tiles, and the larger the tile, the more hunters you'll need. As you collect animal tiles, you'll paint your cave, represented by a 7x7 grid, with the goal of fulfilling the Elders' challenges. You'll place tiles to complete lines, connect corners, or surround legendary animals, earning totem tokens for each challenge completed. The first player to discard eight totem tokens wins, making for a exciting and competitive game. With its unique blend of auction, hand management, and tile placement mechanics, Prehistories is a game that's sure to delight players of all ages.
