Description
In The Ares Project, 2-4 players compete to lead mankind into the future, each with their own unique faction and deck of cards. The game is full of surprises, as players build and upgrade in secret, hiding their plans behind a screen. When an attack card is played, the screens come down and players engage in a battle for control of the Frontier, the central hub of the game. The player who controls the Frontier scores points and gains the power to attack their opponents' bases directly, with the potential to eliminate them from the game instantly. With a mix of dice rolling, hand management, and strategic card play, The Ares Project offers a thrilling 60-minute experience that's easy to learn but challenging to master. Players familiar with board games will quickly pick up the rules, and the game's moderate language dependence won't get in the way of the fun.
