Description

Reign: The Card Game is a game of negotiation and deceit where 3 to 7 players take on the roles of lords and ladies vying for control of the kingdom of Kazath. With the previous ruler meeting a tragic end, the kingdom is up for grabs, and the key to victory is holding the Onyx Crown, the symbol of rulership. The game is easy to learn, but mastering its strategic and diplomatic gameplay is a different story. Players must secretly bid for the support of a house, then use their cunning and charm to convince others that they should be the one to hold the Crown. As players navigate the game, they'll need to use a combination of bribery, promises, and clever tactics to get ahead. They'll secretly deploy their armies, supporting themselves or perhaps another player, all while trying to gain legitimacy points. With 9 points and possession of the Onyx Crown, a player can be named the new rightful ruler of Kazath. But beware, loyalties can shift quickly, and allies can become enemies in an instant. The game is a thrilling mix of betting, bluffing, and negotiation, making it a wild ride for all involved. With playtime lasting around 30 to 45 minutes, Reign: The Card Game is the perfect addition to any game night, offering a fun and challenging experience for all players.
