Get ready for a fast-paced and exciting card game with Ku-Ka-König, designed by Reinhard Staupe and published in 2023. This simple yet strategic game is perfect for 2 to 4 players and can be learned in no time, with a playtime of just 20 minutes. The goal is to collect the right cards to add to your collection, and hopefully, they won't end up in the discard pile. Players simultaneously choose which column of cards they want to take, and if you're the only one who wants it, you get to keep all the cards. But if multiple players want the same column, things get interesting - the final card is discarded, and you have to choose again. As you collect cards, you'll be aiming to gather sets of Kings, Knights, and Churches, each with its own scoring rules. Kings score points based on how many you have, Knights are worth 1 or 2 points each depending on who has the most, and Churches give a whopping 10 points to the player with the most. Some cards even have an X, which means they'll be discarded after the first scoring, adding an extra layer of strategy to the game. With its simultaneous action selection and set collection mechanics, Ku-Ka-König is a thrilling game that's all about making the right choices at the right time.
