Description
Splitters is a card-driven game that throws you into the chaotic world of 1970s left-wing politics, where ideologies clash and parties split. You'll take on the role of an ideologist fighting to have your interpretation of socialism embraced by the movement. With easy-to-learn rules, you'll navigate the game's tactical depth, combining action cards with member opinions to rearrange the board and create new parties, take control of existing ones, or transfer members between them. As the game unfolds, the initial unity of the "Party" gives way to a proliferation of new parties, each with their own quirky name and characteristics. With 3 to 4 players competing, the game can end in one of two ways: either a player achieves three secret goals, or the last card is drawn, and the player controlling the most party members wins. Inspired by Monty Python's "Life of Brian," Splitters is a humorous and chaotic game that balances luck and strategy, making for a wildly entertaining experience that's perfect for groups of friends looking for a fun and lighthearted game night. With playtime ranging from 20 to 80 minutes, you can dive into the world of Splitters and emerge victorious, or at least, thoroughly entertained.
