Description

Ignite: The Freeze is an exciting expansion for the battling deckbuilder Ignite, taking the game to new heights with fresh content. Designed by Darren Terpstra and released in 2021, this expansion introduces new races, terrain, war machines, and devastating Hex cards, among other additions. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, 2 to 8 players can dive into a game that lasts between 40 to 160 minutes, depending on their strategic decisions and negotiations. The Freeze brings a new level of complexity and fun to the game, with features like Acid Pools that corrupt equipment, Snow that hinders movement, and new races like the unbreakable Orcs and the Fallen Valkyrie. Players can also utilize new battle cards, war machines, and poison damage tokens to outmaneuver their opponents. With over 50 new sets of battle cards and variable player powers, each game is unique and challenging, making Ignite: The Freeze a thrilling addition to the Ignite series.
