Description
In Tajuto, 2 to 4 players take on the roles of Buddhist monks, competing to achieve the highest level of spirituality. Designed by Reiner Knizia and published in 2019, this game is easy to learn and plays out over 45 to 60 minutes. Players activate action tiles to draw and build pagoda tiles, make offerings to gain meditation points, and acquire helpful tiles to progress more quickly or earn spirituality points. The game's unique feature is drawing pagoda tiles from a bag, relying on tactile recognition to identify the correct size and weighing the odds to get the desired color. With mechanics like action points, betting and bluffing, and push your luck, Tajuto offers an engaging experience. The game ends when the fourth pagoda is completed, and the player with the most spirituality points wins, becoming the "Great Guardian of the Sacred Garden of the Eight Pagodas".
