Description

Pax Renaissance 2nd Edition is a game for 1 to 4 players set in Europe during the late 15th and early 16th-century. You play as a banker, guiding Europe into the modern age by financing kings or republics, sponsoring voyages of discovery, and joining secret cabals. Your choices will determine the future course of Western Society, with four possible victories: imperialism, trade globalization, religious totalitarianism, or enlightened art and science. As a Renaissance banker, you'll navigate complex rules and make strategic decisions that will impact the game's outcome. With a playtime of 60 to 120 minutes, you'll need to balance your actions carefully to achieve success. The game includes new components, such as punchouts for pirate ships and empire squares, as well as expanded rules for added depth and complexity.
