Description

Cartagena is a thrilling pirate-themed board game where you'll lead a group of six swashbucklers in a daring escape from the fortress of Cartagena. Your goal is to be the first to get all your pirates through the treacherous underground passage to the waiting sloop in the port. To move your pirates, you'll play cards from your hand, each bearing a unique symbol that matches the next step in the tunnel. As you navigate the modular board, you'll need to strategically move your pirates forward and backward to collect more cards and outmaneuver your opponents. With each turn, you'll take one to three actions, carefully planning your next steps to avoid getting stuck. With its easy-to-learn rules and exciting gameplay, Cartagena is a fun and challenging experience for two to five players, lasting around 45 minutes.
