Description

La Bataille d'Albuera: Espagnol is a Napoleonic wargame that drops you into the midst of one of the hardest fought battles of the Peninsular War. As the commander of Imperial French forces or the coalition of Spanish, Portuguese, and British troops, you'll need to outmaneuver your opponent to lift the siege of Badajoz and secure western Spain. With over 400 counters representing different units, from infantry and cavalry to artillery and important personalities, the game offers a rich and immersive experience. The game is designed for 1 to 2 players and can take anywhere from 15 to 30 hours to play, making it a serious commitment for serious gamers. While the rules may take some time to learn, the payoff is worth it - you'll be faced with the same tactical dilemmas as your historical counterparts, and your skill will be the deciding factor in the outcome of the battle.
