It's not just about building a bunch of stuff, though - you'll need to navigate the complex web of alliances and rivalries with the three main factions of the city: the Council of Four, the Flaming Fist, and the Thieves' Guild. With easy-to-learn rules, this city-building game is accessible to new players, and with 2 to 5 players, you can gather your friends and family to join in on the fun. As you place buildings and claim them with your influence cubes, you'll see the city come alive in three dimensions. The game includes cool miniatures for special keeps, gates, and watchtowers, with slots for your cubes so you can show off your control. But don't get too comfortable, because the city of Baldur's Gate is always in danger. Mobs of monsters will regularly attack, forcing you to form temporary alliances with other players to fend off the threats.
