Description

Battlefleet Gothic is a space battle game set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, where 2 to 4 players engage in epic battles with spaceship miniatures. The game has a unique feel, similar to the Age of Sail but in space, with a focus on broadside attacks rather than dogfighting. Players use distance measuring to move and fire their ships, adding a tactical layer to the game. With a playtime of 180 minutes, Battlefleet Gothic is a substantial gaming experience that's easy to learn for those familiar with board games. Designed by Andy Chambers and first published in 1999, the game has a dedicated following and has been expanded with the Warp Storm expansion. While the original starter box is no longer available, the revised rules can be found in book format or as a free PDF download, making it still accessible to new players.
