Description

In Botanicus, you get to create your own botanical garden, competing against other players to build the most beautiful and visitor-friendly garden. As a 19th-century aristocrat, you've acquired land, hired a gardener, and are on the hunt for the rarest and most stunning plants. But it's not just about collecting plants - you need to arrange them in a way that satisfies the picky visitors who come to your garden. With a unique action drafting mechanism, you'll compete with other players for the best spots to take actions, and then make the most of the options available to you. As you play, you'll need to balance collecting new plants, taking care of them, and keeping your gardener happy, all while managing your finances to pay for it all. With a playtime of 45 to 60 minutes, Botanicus is a game that's easy to learn but challenging to master, making it perfect for 2 to 4 players. The game's modular board and variable setup ensure that each playthrough is unique, and the combination of action drafting, grid coverage, and set collection mechanics will keep you on your toes. In the end, the player who satisfies the most visitors and builds the most beautiful garden will be declared the winner - will you be able to outdo your opponents and create the most stunning botanical garden of all?
