Description

In Helsinki, 2 to 4 players compete to design the best pavilions across Senate Square, protecting pedestrians from the rain. This easy-to-learn game, designed by Asger Harding Granerud and Daniel Skjold Pedersen, is all about strategic planning and clever card play. Players take turns advancing their pawn and choosing to take cards or build pavilions, using a combination of grid coverage and card drafting mechanics to outmaneuver their opponents. As players build their pavilions, they earn points for completing rows and columns, and can even spend coats of arms to use special one-time actions. With a playtime of just 45 minutes, Helsinki is a quick and engaging game that's perfect for a fun evening with friends. First released in 2022, Helsinki has already become a hit, and with an expansion available, there's always more to explore in this exciting game.
