Description

Regimen: the Lions of Bukit Chandu is a cooperative board game that drops you into the intense final days before the Fall of Singapore in February 1942. As a member of the Malay Regiment, you'll be fighting alongside your fellow players to defend the nation against the invading Imperial Army. With the Imperial forces smashing through Singapore's defenses, it's up to you and your teammates to fend off the enemy and protect Bukit Chandu. The game is easy to learn, making it accessible to new players, and can be played with 2 to 4 players in just 25 minutes. As you play, you'll take on the role of a different hero, working together to prevent Imperial Soldiers, Tanks, and Warplanes from overwhelming the Malay Regiment. The game mechanics, including Action Points, Dice Rolling, and Cooperative Game elements, create a sense of urgency and tension as the battlefield shrinks and the enemy closes in. You'll need to make hard decisions and balance your actions carefully, as gaining Respect tokens to spend on movements and battles also means more Imperial units will be added to the board. Can you and your fellow players gain enough Respect tokens by defeating the enemy and save Singapore, or will the Imperial Army prove too strong to defeat?
