Description

In the animal kingdom, a new king or queen is about to be crowned, and it's up to you to claim the throne. Awimbawé is a fast-paced, two-player trick-taking game where you'll use the animals of the savannah to outmaneuver your opponent and win the most crowns. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, you'll be diving into the action in no time. The game is designed by Mathieu Roussel and was published in 2022, bringing a fresh take on the classic trick-taking mechanic. As you play, you'll need to manage your hand carefully, using the animals and eagles to your advantage. The eagles are particularly powerful, allowing you to either flee and save your skin or fight and win the trick. But beware - if you collect four hyenas, you'll lose the round immediately. The game is over when one player wins two rounds, making it a quick and intense competition that will keep you on your toes. With a playtime of just 20 to 30 minutes, Awimbawé is the perfect game for a quick duel with a friend. Will you emerge victorious and claim the throne, or will your opponent outsmart you and take the crown? There's only one way to find out.
