Description

Get ready to run your own Japanese street food stall in Yatai, a fun and strategic board game for 2 to 4 players. In this game, you'll be managing a 3x2 grid system where you'll choose which actions to take on your turn, from adding customers to cooking food, stocking up on drinks, serving dishes, and even recycling empty bottles. The twist is that you'll need to coordinate your choices carefully to keep your customers happy, all while navigating a queue management mechanism that adds an extra layer of challenge and excitement. As you play, you'll have the opportunity to develop and customize your own Yatai, adding new cooking plates, expanding your fridge, and learning to cook new dishes that will impress your customers and boost your reviews. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of just 30 to 60 minutes, Yatai is the perfect game for a quick and entertaining session with friends or family. Designed by Tommaso Roberto Ceglia, Riccardo Corti, and Alfonso Bonfanti, and published in 2024, Yatai is a great example of an abstract strategy game that's all about making the right choices at the right time to come out on top.
