Description
In Silk, you'll embark on a challenging journey as a shepherd of giant silkworms, competing with other players for the best feeding grounds in the Akaishi Mountains. This easy-to-learn game is perfect for 2 to 4 players and can be played in just 45 minutes. Designed by Luis Ranedo and published in 2018, Silk introduces players to area control and worker placement systems, making it a great gateway game for new players. Players roll dice to determine their actions, which include breeding silkworms, moving their shepherd or mastiff, and building fences or farms. The goal is to get your silkworms to feed on the best grass available, generating silk points that can be used to modify dice rolls. With the fearsome ookami monster lurking, players must strategically manage their resources to outmaneuver their opponents and earn the most silk points by the end of the game.
