Description

In Samurai: Game of Politics and Warfare in Feudal Japan, you'll travel back in time to 12th through 17th century Japan, where your goal is to become the powerful Shogun. This means gaining control of the country by collecting two out of four Imperial Articles, including the Emperor, The Heir, The Imperial Regalia, and Kyoto Castle. With 2 to 8 players, each controlling a clan with one or more lords, the game is full of opportunities for strategic warfare and political maneuvering. As you navigate the mapboard of Japan's three major islands, you'll use your samurai lords to wage wars, collect troops, and gain control of provinces, castles, and titles. With 360 playing pieces and a rules folder that provides historical background and designer's notes, the game is easy to learn but challenging to master. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, Samurai offers a unique and engaging experience that simulates the true ebb and flow of Japanese feudal conflict.
