Description
In Wakanda, two players compete to create the most valuable totem poles, with the twist that the value of the poles is determined by where they stand as much as what's in them. The game is easy to learn and plays quickly, with each game lasting around 15 minutes. Players start with three headdresses and take turns drawing totem pole pieces from a bag and placing them on available village tiles or claiming existing poles with their headdresses. As players collect village tiles, they'll unlock unique scoring rules that apply to all of their totem poles. With 21 different totem pole pieces to collect, including eagles, chiefs, and animal skins, players will need to balance their strategy and push their luck to come out on top. Designed by Charles Chevallier and first published in 2014, Wakanda is a fun and fast-paced game that's perfect for a quick competition between two players.
