Description

In Palatinus, you'll be transported back to 780 B.C. in the Italian Peninsula, where the foundations of Rome are being laid. This tile-laying game takes place on the Seven Hills of Rome, with a modular board that changes with each play, offering a unique experience every time. Players take on the role of inhabitants, including soldiers, merchants, and farmers, each with their own strengths and abilities, as they try to conquer the lands and rise to power. As you place your inhabitants on the board, you'll need to strategically think about how they interact with each other and their surroundings. With simple yet elegant mechanics, Palatinus is easy to learn and fun to play, making it accessible to 2 to 5 players who can enjoy a game in just 30 minutes. Will you emerge victorious and claim control of the hills, or will your opponents outmaneuver you?
