Description
Vulcanus is a thrilling board game where 2 to 4 players team up to take down a monstrous threat. In this 60 to 80 minute game, designed by Masato Uesugi, players work together to repel the ruthless giant Vulcanus, which has emerged from Mount Fuji and is making its way towards Tokyo. The humans must evacuate citizens, extinguish fires, deploy forces, and conduct investigations to manage the situation and ultimately launch a direct attack on the monster. As the game unfolds, the monster evolves and grows, leaving a path of scorched earth and destruction in its wake. The humans must be strategic and conduct research to gain more options and increase their chances of success. But the monster can detect their plans and ruin their strategy, adding an element of unpredictability to the game. Will Tokyo perish or will the humans emerge victorious, published in 2019, Vulcanus offers a fun and challenging experience for board game enthusiasts.
