Description

Vikings: Scourge of the North drops you into the midst of the Dark Ages, a time when Scandinavian raiders were the scourge of Europe, sailing their longships to distant lands in search of riches and new territories to conquer. As the leader of a band of fierce Viking warriors, you'll embark on a series of epic voyages, exploring the high seas and battling fierce enemies along the way. With historical figures like Leif Erikson and Harald Hardrada at your side, you'll recruit elite huskarls and fanatic berserkers to join your crew, and build more longships to aid in your quest for gold, glory, and new lands to settle. As you navigate the map, which stretches from Russia to Vinland and from Scandinavia to the Byzantine Empire, you'll encounter a range of challenges and opportunities, from forming shield walls in combat to ending the game with a Viking funeral. The game's saga cards will send you on four different voyages of discovery and quest fulfillment, each with its own unique objectives and rewards.
