Description

Downeast Dealer is a fast-paced card game where 3 to 5 players get to experience the thrill of finding a bargain, just like the old Yankees. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, you'll be running auctions, making bids on collectible items, and challenging other players to deals in no time. The game is all about collecting sets of Classified Items, each with its own point value, from the highly sought-after Moose Trophy worth 100 points to the humble Blueberry Rake worth just 5 points. As you collect and trade items, you'll need to use your bluffing skills to get the upper hand, especially when making a Downeast Deal, where you might offer cash or bad checks to capture a set. As you play, you'll need to keep your collection safe from the village ne'er-do-well, the Thief, who might just run off with your prized possessions. With playtime lasting around 30 to 45 minutes, Downeast Dealer is the perfect game for a fun and social evening with friends. Designed by Jesse Harding and Rob Olson, this 2017 game is all about strategy, betting, and bluffing, making it a great addition to any card game collection. Whether you're trying to complete a set or just want to have a cool item to hang on your wall, Downeast Dealer is a game that's all about having fun and outsmarting your opponents.
