Description

In Yak, you're tasked with building a great stone tower to guide merchants and their yaks in the Himalayas. Each turn, a yak pulls its cart into your village, bringing stones and food. You'll need to decide whether to find stones for your tower, stock up on food, or visit the market to get what you need. With easy-to-learn rules, 2 to 4 players can enjoy this economic game, which typically lasts 30 to 60 minutes. As you build your tower, you'll acquire stones from visiting merchants, following restrictions like "no bread" for a gluten-intolerant yak. You'll score points for groups of stones, individual stones, and even for having the most remaining food. With its unique blend of strategy and luck, Yak is a fun and engaging game that's perfect for players of all skill levels, and its 2022 release has brought a fresh twist to the world of economic games.
