Description

In Cartouche, you take on the role of an archeologist tasked with restoring the legacy of ancient Egypt's greatest pharaoh, Hatshepsut. The game is a tile-laying experience where the spaces you don't cover are just as important as the ones you do. You'll draft tiles and arrange them to restore murals, complete stories, and earn points. With easy-to-learn rules, Cartouche is accessible to players of all skill levels, and its simultaneous action selection mechanic ensures that gameplay is engaging and interactive. As you play through the 10 rounds, you'll compete to score the most points from completed story cards and achievements. With a playtime of 20 to 80 minutes, Cartouche is perfect for a quick game night or a longer, more immersive experience. Designed by Peter C. Hayward and Jeff Fraser, and published in 2023, Cartouche offers a unique blend of enclosure, card drafting, and tile placement mechanics that will keep you coming back for more.
