Description

In Festival, the goal is to create the most impressive and beautiful fireworks display possible, and of course, score the most points. You'll be selecting tiles to place on your tableau, trying to outdo your opponents in a dazzling display of color and light. With two stacks of tiles in front of you, and each neighboring player having access to the stack closest to them, you'll need to think strategically about which tiles to choose and where to place them on your 3x3 grid. The tiles come in four colors and four firework designs, giving you plenty of options to create a unique and stunning display. As you take your turns, you can choose to take a tile from the top of either stack and add it to your grid, or take an objective card from the top of its stack and place it to the left of your board. With four stacks of objective cards and four crowd-pleaser tiles in the middle of the table, there are plenty of ways to earn points and move closer to victory. The game is simple to learn, but with its combination of tile placement, pattern building, and strategic planning, it's challenging to master. With a playtime of just 20 minutes, Festival is the perfect game for a quick and exciting competition with friends and family, and its abstract strategy and puzzle elements will keep you coming back for more.
