Description

In the game Chandigarh, you and your friends take on the role of urban planners, tasked with building a modern city from scratch. The city is represented by a 4x4 grid of sector tiles, with each sector having multiple plots and intersecting at junctions to create streets. As you navigate the city, you'll construct buildings, try to take advantage of others' constructions, and use the abilities of different municipal employees to position yourself in key locations and achieve the patterns on your chosen plans. With easy-to-learn rules, 2 to 4 players can enjoy this city-building experience in about 45 to 60 minutes. As you play, you'll move your architect around the city, placing buildings and supervisors to score prestige points. You can choose new project cards to add to your collection, scoring points when the patterns on them appear in the city. Specialist tokens, located in the corners of the city, offer powerful abilities when you construct buildings in their sector, giving you an edge over your opponents. With its unique blend of pattern building and point-to-point movement, Chandigarh is a fun and engaging game that challenges you to build the most prestigious city. Designed by Toni López and published in 2024, Chandigarh is a great addition to any board game collection, offering a fresh take on the city-building genre.
