Description
Age of Steam is a game that relives the era of pioneering US railroads, where steam-belching iron horses roared across the wild plains, transforming America's economy. The game is set in the industrial powerhouses of the growing nation, including Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, and Chicago. Players compete to build the most extensive track network and powerful locomotives, while also trying to beat their opponents to the most lucrative shipments. The game is centered around cut-throat action, with challenges such as financing track networks and locomotives, choosing the most profitable routes, and making enough money to pay off aggressive creditors. With its complex rules and multiple mechanics, Age of Steam requires careful planning and strategic decision-making, making it a thrilling experience for 1 to 6 players.
