Description

Furnace is a game where you take on the role of a 19th-century capitalist, building your industrial corporation and aiming to make as much money as possible. You'll start with a random start-up card and some resources, and then dive into a world of auctions and production. The game is easy to learn, but with a playtime of 30 to 60 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to develop your strategies and outmaneuver your opponents. As you play, you'll bid on company cards, extract resources, and process them to maximize your profits. With multiple game mechanics at play, including action queues, auctions, and variable player powers, each game will be unique and challenging. Designed by Ivan Lashin and published in 2020, Furnace is a great choice for 2 to 4 players looking for a fun and engaging economic game with a post-Napoleonic twist.
