Description
Calling All Knights is a fun and family-friendly card game where 2 to 5 players take on the role of potential rulers of a medieval kingdom, vying to rid the land of pesky monsters. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, this 2022 game is easy to pick up and play, with each playthrough lasting around 20 to 40 minutes. Players hire knights to fight on their behalf, with 54 unique knight characters to choose from, each with their own strengths. The goal is to send the best knight to battle each monster, with the highest number winning the day, unless a knight matches the color of the monster, giving them a trump card. As players progress through the 5 rounds, the challenge increases, with the number of knights in each player's hand growing from 2 to 10. Before each round, players bid on how many monsters they think they can slay, with correct predictions earning bonus points that increase in value as the game goes on. With monsters ranging from fearsome dragons worth 4 points to seemingly harmless bunnies that will actually cost you 4 points, strategy and luck come together in a hilarious and entertaining way. In the end, the player with the most points is declared the winner, making Calling All Knights a great choice for families and fans of light-hearted fantasy games.
