Description
Battle of the Beanfield is a thrilling solitaire game that drops you right into the chaos of June 1, 1985, where the Wiltshire police are clashing with the Peace Convoy at the Stonehenge Free Festival. You're the driver of Bus 13, stalled in a nearby beanfield, and your goal is to rescue as many of your fellow festival-goers as possible from the clutches of the police. With simple rules that can be learned quickly, you'll be immersed in the action in no time, navigating the challenges of the game to save your brothers and sisters. As you play through the seven rounds, you'll use card drafting mechanics to outsmart the police and free your fellow hippies. Each round, you'll reveal new cards that will determine which hippies you can rescue, adding an element of strategy and excitement to the game. With its quick 30-minute playtime, Battle of the Beanfield is the perfect game for a solo adventure, and its simple rules make it accessible to new players. Designed by Mike Selinker and first published in 2008, this game is a unique and captivating experience that will keep you on the edge of your seat as you fight to save the day.
