Description

Nusfjord is a game where you develop a fishing village in northern Norway, competing with others to enlarge your fleet, clear the forest, and erect new buildings. As the owner of a major fishing company, you must satisfy the local elders and manage your resources carefully, as money is scarce. You'll place workers on a central board to trigger actions, such as buying a new cutter or constructing a building, but be mindful of the space available. With a playtime of 20 to 100 minutes, Nusfjord offers a challenging and engaging experience for 1 to 5 players. Designed by Uwe Rosenberg, the game features card drafting, worker placement, and turn order mechanics, making it a great fit for fans of economic and nautical games. As you navigate the village, you'll need to balance your goals with the risks of sharing your company's profits with others, all while trying to emerge victorious in this tranquil yet competitive fishing village.
