Description
Tempus is a game of civilization and territory building for 3 to 5 players, designed by Martin Wallace. Players take turns moving their people tokens, having babies, fighting, having ideas, and building cities on a modular board composed of hexagonal tiles with different terrains. The goal is to accumulate Progress Points by occupying certain terrains, building cities, and collecting Idea Cards, which will allow players to advance to new eras and gain advantages over their opponents. As players progress through the game's 10 eras, they will need to adapt their strategies to maximize their Progress Points and ultimately earn Victory Points. The game requires a mix of strategic planning, tactical decision-making, and a bit of luck, making it an engaging and challenging experience for players familiar with board games. With its unique mechanics and variable setup, Tempus offers a fresh and exciting gameplay experience each time it's played.
