Description
Mystery of the Abbey is a whodunit deduction game where a monk has been murdered in a medieval French Abbey. Players take on the role of investigators, maneuvering through the Abbey to examine clues and question each other to uncover the culprit. With easy-to-learn rules, 3 to 6 players can join in on the fun, which typically lasts 60 to 90 minutes. As players move through the Abbey, they can ask questions of other monks, take a vow of silence, or answer truthfully, all while trying to gather information about the three orders of monks: fat-thin, bald-hatted, bearded-clean shaven. The game features unique events, special rooms, and random events that add to the excitement, making each play different. With points awarded for correct declarations and accusations, players must strategically balance their investigation to win the game.
