Description
Gorus Maximus is a fast-paced trick-taking game where you dispatch gladiators and beasts to win crowd favor. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, 1 to 8 players can join in on the fun, playing either solo or in teams. The game is all about strategy and adapting to changing circumstances, as the trump suit can change mid-trick if a player matches the rank of the last gladiator played. Players compete to collect gladiators with positive crowd favor, while avoiding those with negative favor. The goal is to earn the support of the masses by collecting 3 crowd support, which is awarded to the player with the highest favor at the end of each round. With playtime ranging from 20 to 45 minutes, Gorus Maximus is a quick and exciting game that's perfect for a fun night in with friends or family.
