Ceres: Operation Stolen Base is a thrilling solo board game that drops you into a sci-fi world where you're part of an elite Rebel task force on a mission to seize control of the largest source of water in the Solar System. With the Free Mars Revolution in full swing, your goal is to defeat the Earth Federation ships in the area and capture the primary surface base on Ceres. The game is easy to learn, but don't let that fool you - it's a challenging 60-minute adventure that requires strategic thinking and tactical prowess. As you navigate the game, you'll use a combination of dice rolling and point-to-point movement to outmaneuver your opponents, who are controlled by a deck of cards that can throw unexpected challenges your way. You'll start by custom-building your fleet, choosing which ships and special weapon pods to include, and then launch into a series of four increasingly difficult missions. With each success, you'll gain access to new ships and technologies, but the Earth Federation will also become more alert and aggressive, making each subsequent mission even tougher. Can you lead your Rebel task force to victory and secure a vital source of water for the people of Mars and other colonies? The fate of the revolution is in your hands.
