Description

In Karigar-e-Taj, you'll take on the role of a skilled artisan, competing against rival craftsmen to earn the favor of the Emperor by building the iconic Taj Mahal. With 2 to 4 players, this engaging game is perfect for a fun night in with friends or family, and its normal complexity rules make it easy to learn for those familiar with board games. As you navigate the ever-changing market, you'll need to strategically place your workers to gather the resources you need, from historically authentic materials to valuable coins, known as mohurs. Your goal is to complete various levels of the Taj Mahal, each requiring specific resources, and earn the most Taj points to win. As you build your strategy, you'll need to optimize your resources, fulfill secret blueprint objectives, and make tactical decisions about which resources to use or trade. Capturing Special Marketplaces will give you access to a wider range of resources and generate revenue, but beware - the market evolves with each new section of the Taj built, and your opponents can use this to their advantage. With a playtime of 60 to 90 minutes, Karigar-e-Taj is a thrilling game of city building, contracts, and trading, where the player with the most Taj points at the end wins. Designed by Amit Ghadge and Phalgun Polepalli, and published in 2023, this base game is sure to provide hours of entertainment and challenge for fans of board games.
