Description
In Overworld, you're the hero's mysterious mentor, mapping out the world before sending them on their quest. This tile placement game is all about claiming regions of land and sea with your Bird and Ship meeples, and competing to place Dungeon Door meeples in the holes that form in the world. With its retro videogame flair and super-portable design, Overworld is a fun and easy-to-learn game that's perfect for 2 to 4 players. Players take turns placing L-shaped tiles, drawn from a bag, to create a modular board that's different every time. The goal is to enclose gaps in the board and place your Dungeon Door meeples in the most valuable locations. The player with the Dungeon Doors farthest apart wins, having discovered the largest and most valuable dungeon. With a playtime of just 30 to 40 minutes, Overworld is a great game for a quick gaming session, and its easy-to-learn rules make it accessible to gamers of all levels.
