Description

Escape the Dark Castle is a simple, cooperative game of retro-atmospheric adventure where players take on the roles of prisoners wrongfully incarcerated in a medieval castle. Each prisoner has unique abilities represented by a character card and custom die, which they use to overcome the castle's horrors, traps, and challenges. The game is played with 1 to 4 players and can be completed in 20 to 45 minutes. Players work together to navigate through the castle, making choices and using item cards to aid them in their quest. The game features a variety of mechanics, including dice rolling, skill tests, and push-your-luck elements, making each chapter a mini-game. The goal is to complete every chapter and defeat the final boss, all while keeping every team member alive. With its unique blend of storytelling, role-playing, and cooperative gameplay, Escape the Dark Castle offers a thrilling adventure for players of all skill levels.
