Description
In Mille Grazie, you'll embark on a thrilling adventure through picturesque landscapes, but beware, as marauding bandits are lurking around every corner. As a nobleman, you'll try to navigate from town to town, completing task cards and avoiding those sly outlaws. But here's the twist - you'll also get to play the role of a robber, trying to waylay your opponents and steal their riches. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, this game is easy to pick up, but don't be fooled, it's full of strategic depth. As you move your pawn through the serpentine canyons and shady pinewoods, you'll need to outsmart your opponents, who are secretly plotting to ambush you. You can hire a guard to protect yourself, but this will limit your movement. The robbers, on the other hand, will try to guess which route you'll take, and if they succeed, they'll get to reap the rewards. The first player to reach 30 victory points wins the game, which typically takes around 30 minutes to play. With its unique blend of point-to-point movement and bluffing, Mille Grazie is a game that will keep you on your toes, whether you're playing with 2 or 4 players. Designed by Dirk Hillebrecht and published in 2010, this base game is a must-try for anyone looking for a fun and exciting experience.
