Description

Trireme is a tactical game of ancient naval warfare where you control individual ships maneuvering to sink or capture the enemy. This game is a thoroughly accurate recreation of Greek and Roman naval warfare, with a unique blend of strategy and historical accuracy. With over 225 different ships and 11 scenario games, you can re-create great historical engagements such as the battles of Salamis or Actium, or even design your own battles. The game is played on a hexagonal grid, with each ship having its own movement points that reflect its speed per turn. Combat is resolved through a unique die-roll system that rewards tactical skill. With a playtime of 90 minutes and normal complexity, Trireme is easy to learn and exciting to play, making it ideal for two players aged 12 and up. The game comes complete with a detailed rule folder, background synopses, and designer's notes, providing a rich and immersive gaming experience.
